Our Houston-based client—a multidisciplinary civil engineering firm known for its employee-centric culture and robust benefits—is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join their growing Public Works team. This is a direct hire role with remote flexibility for the right candidate.
? What You’ll Do: •Lead diverse water and wastewater projects, including treatment plant design •Manage budgets, schedules, scopes, and change orders across multiple projects •Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead •Perform detailed design work, review specs, and oversee construction phases •Mentor junior engineers and coordinate team activities •Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts
? What You’ll Bring: •Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) •Texas PE license (required) •8+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience •Expertise in treatment plant design and standard engineering practices •Strong project management and independent execution skills
