Vice President, International Marketing
Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Base Salary: $250, 000 + Executive Bonus + Long-Term Incentives
Our client is seeking a Senior Vice President of International Marketing to lead the global marketing strategy for a portfolio of internationally recognized restaurant brands. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive international growth, strengthen brand equity, support franchise development, and increase profitability across established and emerging markets.
Reporting to executive leadership, this individual will partner with brand presidents, franchisees, regional marketing teams, operations, and culinary leaders to ensure global brand consistency while adapting marketing strategies to meet local market needs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the international marketing strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
Partner with executive leadership to establish annual marketing priorities, budgets, and resource allocation.
Drive brand positioning and architecture across international markets while preserving brand integrity.
Brand Growth & Marketing Execution
Lead integrated marketing campaigns supporting new market expansion, restaurant openings, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
Oversee international advertising, digital marketing, social media, CRM, loyalty, and customer engagement strategies.
Ensure marketing initiatives deliver measurable sales growth, market penetration, and return on investment.
Manage relationships with creative, media, and digital agencies.
Consumer Insights & Innovation
Utilize consumer research and market analytics to identify growth opportunities and improve customer engagement.
Partner with culinary and operations teams to localize menu innovation and Limited Time Offers while maintaining brand standards.
Provide strategic recommendations based on consumer trends and competitive intelligence.
Team Leadership
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing international marketing organization.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or related field;MBA preferred.
15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
Executive-level experience leading international marketing for a multi-unit franchise, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or consumer brand.
Proven success developing global marketing strategies that drive sales, franchise growth, and brand awareness.
Strong experience in digital marketing, CRM, loyalty, media planning, consumer insights, and brand management.
Experience managing multiple external agencies and cross-functional global teams.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets.
Exceptional executive communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
Multi-brand restaurant or franchise organization
International QSR, Fast Casual, Casual Dining, or Food & Beverage experience
Global franchise marketing
Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience is a plus
Travel
Approximately 30% international travel.
