A rapidly expanding fitness franchise known for its vibrant community is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Vice President of Technology. In this key leadership role, you'll spearhead our technological evolution, shaping our digital landscape and driving innovation across all franchise locations.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute a forward-thinking IT strategy aligned with our business objectives. Lead digital transformation initiatives to seamlessly integrate technology into all aspects of our operations.
Team Management: Build and lead a top-tier technology team dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of our franchise.
Innovation and Development: Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the technology department. Oversee the development of proprietary software and apps to enhance member experience and operational efficiency.
Infrastructure and Security: Ensure the development and maintenance of a robust IT infrastructure that safeguards data integrity and supports corporate and franchisee operations.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and effectively managing budgets.
Franchise Partner Support: Develop technology solutions to enhance franchisee efficiency and effectiveness, including CRM systems, scheduling platforms, and data analytics tools.
Industry Awareness: Stay informed about emerging tech trends in the fitness industry to ensure we remain at the forefront of fitness innovation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership, preferably in the fitness or franchise industry.
Proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategies in a multi-unit business environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and their applications in the fitness industry.
Ability to work within project timelines, establish priorities, and meet milestones and deliverables.
