Our client in the Cleveland, OH area is seeking a highly qualified Senior Transportation Engineer with a strong background in design and project management.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage transportation projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Utilize your extensive design experience to develop innovative and efficient transportation solutions.
Prepare detailed design plans, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and Civil 3D.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and environmental engineers, to deliver integrated project solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments, providing technical expertise to inform project design.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards, in all design and construction activities.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and actively contribute to the professional development of the team.
Participate in client meetings, presenting design concepts and addressing client requirements.
Oversee construction phase activities, offering technical support and addressing design-related challenges as they arise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Ohio.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in transportation engineering.
Proven project management skills, with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Extensive design experience in transportation projects.
Proficiency in CAD and Civil 3D software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
