Our client is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable CPA/EA to join their team. As a Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic tax planning to their clients. You will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, managing client relationships, and providing expert advice on complex tax matters. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients to minimize their tax liabilities
Provide guidance and support to clients on various tax issues, including corporate, individual, and international taxation
Review and analyze financial statements to identify potential tax savings opportunities
Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify changes that may impact clients
Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for all tax-related matters
Collaborate with other professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive financial planning solutions
Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development
Qualifications:
CPA or EA license, or working towards CPA/EA
5+ years of experience in public accounting
Strong technical accounting knowledge with expertise in tax planning and compliance
Proven experience in financial planning, including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
Experience in using accounting software such as Quickbooks and CCH Axcess preferred
Familiarity with tax laws and regulations, including estate law
Experience in conducting financial audits and providing recommendations for improvement
