Our client, a top-ranked public accounting firm with locations in Knoxville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Kansas City, KS, Nashville, TN and Tampa, FL, is seeking a Tax Manager to support the Professional and Emerging Business Services department. Qualified candidates located in any of the firm's office locations will be considered.
Job responsibilities include:
o Leading client projects, with an emphasis on providing excellent client service on matters including planning and project management, resulting in the successful completion of tax planning, advisory, and compliance projects
o Lead and develop a team of tax consultants and other subject matter experts for corporate partnerships and S-Corps with multi-jurisdiction complexities
o Serving as a trusted client resource to deliver exceptional service with a business tax concentration
o Manage client relationships while developing and maintaining business development opportunities
Qualified candidates will have the following:
o At least five years of tax and accounting experience with a public accounting and/or consulting firm, with a focus on State and Local Taxes
o CPA or EA license is preferred
o Previous tax experience with healthcare (including physician practices), real estate, and professional services industries is a big plus
o Client focused work ethic, committed to excellence
o Problem solving ability with a high level of strategic, analytical and conceptual skills to benefit client needs
