Our client, a top-ranked public accounting firm with locations in Knoxville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Kansas City, KS, Nashville, TN and Tampa, FL, is seeking a Tax Manager, a leadership position that will support the Individual Tax and Estate Planning Services department. Qualified candidates located in any of the firm's office locations will be considered.
Job responsibilities include:
o Leading and assisting in the planning and management of estate and trust tax compliance and advisory services for high-net-worth clients
o Serving as a trusted advisor to client needs for estate and trust planning, reporting, and compliance regarding taxation
o Engaging in business development to grow the strategic service offering
o Develop a team of tax consultants and other service line subject matter experts that deliver exceptional client service to high-net-worth clients
Qualified candidates will have the following:
o At least five years of tax and accounting experience with a public accounting and/or consulting firm, with a focus on State and Local Taxes
o CPA or EA license is preferred
o Previous experience with individual, estate, gift, trust, foundation, and partnership taxation preferred
o Client-focused work ethic, committed to excellence
o Problem-solving ability with a high level of strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills to benefit client needs
