A client of ours in Cape Coral is looking for a Staff Tax Accountant to join their team! They are offering great pay, benefits and a clear path for advancement. Looking for a highly motivated, disciplined, and skilled Staff Tax Accountant who is seeking an opportunity to stand out at a small firm and have work life balance.
This role will be on-site.
Qualifications
3+ years of tax preparation
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conduct
Able to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
Experience working in Public Accounting
Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Primary Responsibilities
Preparing financial statements and corporate tax returns (may also prepare some personal returns if necessary)
Filing payroll tax returns and sales tax returns
Assisting clients in resolving tax matters with the IRS
Works as required during tax season to meet federal and state deadlines
