Surveyors needed for leading Golf Construction company.
***This is a 100% travel opportunity. Candidates may live anywhere on the East Coast, as long as they are within an hour of a major airport. ***
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ability to operate the Trimble GPS. NMP used Trimble R10 with TSC7 Data Collector. Some training provided.
-AutoCAD Civil 3-D or Carlson. Some training provided.
-Create material take offs from the engineer/architect’ s plans as well as going out into the field and collecting data to then be analyze.
-Create an as-built for the project when required.
-Work directly with the project superintendent, heavy machine operators, and labors and ensure the project is running according to design. Provide locations of golf course features such as greens, tees, bunkers, turning points, fairways, and ponds. Set up grade laser when installing drainage pipe or making sure there is sufficient surface flow in newly graded areas. The ability to track the progression of the project and ensure the project is on budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Associate’ s Degree or higher, preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Turfgrass Management.
-Surveying experience.
-Self-motivated, highly reliable, and great work ethic.
-Willing to travel. Projects may be in New England, Mid-Atlantic, and South-Eastern states.
-Strong mathematics skills.
-Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel.
