Superintendent –Dredging & Marine Construction
��Location: Houston, TX (21/7 Rotation)
��Salary: $120, 000 - $140, 000 per year + 15% Target Bonus

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the field management of dredging and marine construction projects. This role is critical in overseeing project execution, managing field personnel, and ensuring safety, productivity, and efficiency on-site. The Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers and Operations Managers to plan, coordinate, and execute successful projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Project & Planning:
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and assist with project estimating.
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Develop mobilization strategies, work budgets, and dredging strategies.
  • Assist in selecting project personnel and equipment.
  • Engage with clients to discuss project objectives, risks, and expectations.
Project Execution & Management:
  • Lead mobilization, site setup, execution, and demobilization.
  • Oversee dredging assignments and coordinate with dredge superintendents.
  • Manage and supervise project crews, including field engineers.
  • Monitor safety, quality, and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
Reporting & Financial Management:
  • Maintain internal reports (daily logs, production tracking, safety compliance).
  • Provide external reports to clients, safety teams, and environmental agencies.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee procurement and cost management to ensure financial control.
Qualifications & Requirements:
✅5+ years of experience in dredging, marine construction, or heavy civil projects.
✅Strong leadership and team management experience.
✅Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and financial oversight.
✅Ability to analyze production data and optimize project performance.
✅Excellent communication skills for internal coordination and client interactions.
✅Knowledge of safety, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
✅Willingness to work a 21/7 rotation schedule in the field.
