We are a world-renowned architecture & engineering services firm, located in the heart of Detroit. We offer a variety of services to our clients, including urban planning, environmental review, historical preservation, sustainability, and electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering. Right now, we're looking for strong Structural Engineers to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Leading the project structural engineering team;offering mentorship and overseeing the work assigned to junior staff.
Analyzing and designing various building framing and foundation systems in structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry.
Developing construction documents, building information models, drawings, and specifications to meet scheduled project issue dates.
Collaborating and coordinating with other technical disciplines.
Overseeing construction administration tasks, including shop drawing review and addressing Contractor questions.
Assisting in performing quality assurance and quality control reviews.
Assisting in the development of proposals.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering;Master’s Degree preferred.
10+ years of relevant project experience.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
Preferred experience with Revit, RISA-3D, and RISAFloor.
Demonstrated project leadership skills.
Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic team setting with flexibility for overtime as required.
