They are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead growth within the utility and cargo vehicle markets across North America. This individual will combine strategic market development, senior-level relationship management and technical consultative sales.
The ideal candidate understands the commercial vehicle ecosystem and has experience working foror selling products and solutions tovehicle upfitters, body manufacturers, fleet solution providers or specialty vehicle manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the North American sales strategy for the utility and cargo segments.
Identify and secure new customers, channel partners and business opportunities.
Build senior-level relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Develop a strong understanding of customer applications, purchasing processes, distribution channels and emerging needs.
Own segment sales and profitability performance in partnership with the Director of Sales.
Analyze market data, competitive activity, industry trends and regulatory developments.
Translate customer and market insights into product requirements and commercial opportunities.
Coordinate customer-specific applications, quotations, pricing and contract negotiations.
Support regional sales leaders with technical and commercial expertise.
Develop forecasts, annual plans, business projections and performance metrics.
Monitor sales, margin and marketing performance and provide monthly reporting.
Coordinate customer programs involving regional and global resources.
Develop segment-specific marketing strategies, messaging and sales tools.
Represent the organization at relevant trade shows, conferences and industry events.
Identify customer training needs and support the development of appropriate technical and commercial resources.
Operating Environment
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Sales. The Manager will work closely with regional sales leaders and global product, engineering and commercial teams.
Success will require the ability to influence across functions and geographies without direct authority. The role involves regular interaction with customers, channel partners and internal technical stakeholders across North America.
Candidates should be located within convenient access of a major airport. Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta are preferred, although other well-connected U.S. Locations may be considered.

Qualifications
University degree in engineering, marketing, business administration or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant business experience.
Minimum five years of direct B2B sales or business development experience.
Demonstrated success winning key accounts and managing complex customer relationships.
Experience within specialty vehicles, commercial vehicles, vehicle upfitting, body manufacturing, fleet solutions, mobile equipment or a related market.
Experience working foror selling tomajor vehicle upfitters, body builders or specialty vehicle manufacturers is strongly preferred.
Experience selling technically complex components, systems or engineered solutions is an asset.
Strong understanding of multi-stakeholder, consultative sales processes.
Ability to translate customer needs into clear commercial and product requirements.
Experience developing market strategies, forecasts, budgets and multi-year business plans.
Strong commercial judgment, including pricing, margin management and contract negotiation.
Excellent communication, presentation and senior relationship-building skills.
Comfortable collaborating with engineering, product, marketing and geographically dispersed sales teams.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout North America as required.
