Staff Auditor

Job Summary: The Auditor will be responsible for conducting thorough and precise audit engagements. The ideal candidate must have experience working within a public accounting firm for 3+ years, focusing on audit engagements. Local travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audit engagements in accordance with established standards.
Evaluate financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Identify and communicate audit findings to clients and provide recommendations for improvement.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing principles, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful completion of audit engagements.
Travel locally as required to meet client needs.
Qualifications:
CPA license, or partial CPA license would be ideal.
3+ years of audit experience within a public accounting firm.
Audit experience within education and non-profits is a plus.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Public accounting experience is required.
