Job Description


Senior Roadway Engineer/Project Manager in Brentwood, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis TN.

Duties:
  • Design, plan review, and project management for the TDOT and/or the local municipalities in this region
  • Responsible for organizing, scheduling, and reporting in support of assigned projects
  • Prepare, issue, and track project contracts, change orders, client sign-off, etc.
  • Prepare correspondence and documents with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies as required
  • Assist with project submittals and bidding activities
  • Market local municipal clients

 

Requirements:
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 7-10 + years of relevant experience in roadway design
  • Must have proven skills in meeting DOT expectations, schedules, and budgets
  • TDOT experience is preferred but not required
  • PE required
  • Experienced in DOT design methods, plan preparation, standards, and specifications
  • Managing medium to large projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects
  • Mentoring and client liaison skills
  • Proficiency with OpenRoads preferred, Geopak expertise required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
