Senior Roadway Engineer/Project Manager in Brentwood, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis TN.

Duties:

Design, plan review, and project management for the TDOT and/or the local municipalities in this region
Responsible for organizing, scheduling, and reporting in support of assigned projects
Prepare, issue, and track project contracts, change orders, client sign-off, etc.
Prepare correspondence and documents with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies as required
Assist with project submittals and bidding activities
Market local municipal clients

Requirements:

BS degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
7-10 + years of relevant experience in roadway design
Must have proven skills in meeting DOT expectations, schedules, and budgets
TDOT experience is preferred but not required
PE required
Experienced in DOT design methods, plan preparation, standards, and specifications
Managing medium to large projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects
Mentoring and client liaison skills
Proficiency with OpenRoads preferred, Geopak expertise required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
