Overview We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software and IT Engineer to join our South Florida team in a full-time, on-site role. This position involves close collaboration with leadership, operations, and investment teams to improve and expand proprietary systems. It offers the chance to make a significant impact on the organization's technical capabilities and infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance custom-built portfolio management systems to support scalability and efficiency.
Work alongside investment and operations teams to implement solutions for diverse technical projects.
Manage external IT service providers to optimize infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity protocols, and ensure the resolution of technical issues.
Oversee and monitor software and hardware systems to ensure reliable operations and continuity.
Perform data validation and analysis to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all systems and reports.
Desired Qualifications
2 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, IT, or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with a programming language such as C, C#, or VB.
Interest in financial markets and familiarity with asset management principles is a plus.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational abilities and interpersonal skills to thrive in a high-energy, collaborative environment.
Willingness to embrace new challenges and adapt quickly to a fast-paced setting.
