Our client in Lexington, KY is seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with a strong background in site civil design, grading, earthwork, and water or utilities projects.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative and efficient site development solutions.
Utilize your design expertise in site civil, grading, earthwork, and water or utilities projects to meet project objectives.
Prepare detailed design plans, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and Civil 3D.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform project design and development.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, landscape architects, and environmental engineers.
Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards in all design work.
Continuously stay informed about advancements in civil engineering and incorporate best practices into design projects.
Participate in client meetings, presenting design concepts and addressing client requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited U.S. Institution.
Minimum of 3 years of post-graduation experience, excluding Geotechnical or Structural Engineering.
Working towards or holding a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
Design experience in site civil, grading, earthwork, water, or utilities projects.
Proficiency in CAD and Civil 3D software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Salary: $75k-$100k plus benefits
