GENERAL SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and documentation processes. Duties include coordinating shipments, preparing packing lists, monitoring inventory levels, processing billing, and scanning required documents. The role works closely with multiple teams to ensure accuracy in shipments, inventory, and recordkeeping. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide excellent customer service through prompt and accurate responses
Send Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) to customers through BASE2
Process shipment confirmations
Receive inventory into JDE
Print and distribute Kanbans to Material Handlers (T1 and T2)
Schedule Tier II shipments and expedites as needed
Print and distribute Tier II customer packing lists and bills of lading
Prepare and receive direct shipment orders
Monitor back-order lists and short shipments
Process Toyota billing
Process SIA mass production paperwork and labels daily
Scan all shipping and receiving documents to the Inventory Control Specialist
Scan incoming mail to the accounting email
Print customer labels for shipping
Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories
Communicate with Material Handlers, Supervisors, and Shipping & Warehouse team members to ensure accuracy in shipments, purchasing, inventory levels, and recordkeeping
Review and verify orders entered by Customer Service
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work with minimal supervision
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 or related software
Experience with JDE
