Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in tax preparation, planning, and advisory services for our diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate, partnership, and individual tax compliance, along with a commitment to client service and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
Conduct tax research and stay current on federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Identify and implement tax-saving strategies for clients.
Manage client relationships, addressing inquiries and providing solutions.
Assist in tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiencies in tax preparation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required.
5+ years of tax accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or consulting firm.
Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Experience with tax preparation software (e.G., UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and client service skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
