Our client is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic tax planning to their clients. You will be responsible for tax compliance, managing client relationships, and providing expert advice on tax matters. If you are a highly motivated individual with exceptional analytical skills and a passion for delivering excellent client service, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients to minimize their tax liabilities
Provide guidance and support to clients on various tax issues, including corporate, individual, and international taxation
Review and analyze financial statements to identify potential tax savings opportunities
Collaborate with other professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive financial planning solutions
Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development
Qualifications:
2+ years experience in public accounting
CPA or EA license, or working towards CPA/EA preferred
Strong technical accounting knowledge with expertise in tax planning and compliance
Proven experience in financial planning, including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
Experience in using accounting software such as Quickbooks and CCH Axcess preferred
Familiarity with tax laws and regulations
