Job Title: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Contract Duration: Start upon selection –6-month contract (potential for extension) Location: Houston, TX Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources Business Partner team. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition and Special Projects Manager, this role will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding top talent into the organization. The specialist will play a critical role in developing and executing a global recruitment strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and goals. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy Development: Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to create strategies to attract, source, and screen a diverse and high-quality talent pool across all functions.
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a key point of contact for HR, hiring managers, third-party recruiters, and other stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
Candidate Assessment: Consult with hiring teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are evaluated against appropriate criteria.
Communication & Reporting: Maintain effective communication with hiring managers and candidates, managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Onboarding Support: Ensure seamless onboarding of new hires by collaborating with key teams to support their successful integration.
Professional Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will possess:
5+ years of staffing and recruiting experience, ideally in the oil and gas industry.
Experience with enterprise-wide HR systems;proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors is required.
Proven ability to create and implement innovative sourcing strategies for roles across various organizational levels.
Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes, from talent attraction to onboarding.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities effectively.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage passive candidates and articulate compelling opportunities.
Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
Proficiency in sourcing techniques, data mining, and internet research.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with professionals at all levels of the organization.
