Senior Litigation Associate

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various areas of law, including Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Immigration Law, and Patent Law. This role requires a strong ability to litigate effectively, conduct thorough research, and produce high-quality legal writing. The Senior Litigation Associate will play a crucial role in managing complex cases and providing strategic legal counsel to their clients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee litigation cases from inception through resolution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and court requirements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Immigration Law, Patent Law, and Tribal Law regulations.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations effectively advocating for their interests.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal strategies.
  • Utilize Lexis-Nexis for comprehensive legal research and case law analysis.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas mentioned.
  • Mentor junior associates and support their professional development through guidance and training.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Immigration Law, Patent Law, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of successful case management and litigation outcomes.
  • Strong research skills with proficiency in utilizing Lexis-Nexis for legal inquiries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Estate Planning is a plus but not mandatory.
