SENIOR BRIDGE ENGINEER-ATLANTA, GA TOP Ranked Transportation Design+Build firm, seeks Senior Bridge Engineer. This position is a hybrid position
Duties: Perform/supervise calculations and analysis for designing bridge and transportation structures Perform/supervise load ratings on bridges of various type size and complexity Review calculations and designs Develop solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget, schedule, and project constraints Review shop drawings and other construction related submittals Organize and maintain project files Quantity take-off for bridge project engineer’s estimate Marketing bridge and structure design work Candidate will need to have the flexibility to come into the office to train and develop staff and meet with clients. Play integral role in team’s development of construction bids and business development activities.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Master of Engineering preferred, but not required Georgia PE license 10-25 years of engineering experience in bridge design GDOT experience is strongly preferred but not required Skilled in the use of MicroStation Technical expertise for the layout & design of bridges and related highway structures Familiarity with rehabilitation of existing bridges and highway structures AASHTO and other pertinent bridge design specifications
