Senior Accountant Seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role partners closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records, maintain internal controls, and provide financial insights that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, experience in financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and ERP systems, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
Support annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Analyze financial results, variances, and key performance metrics.
Develop and improve financial reporting and accounting processes.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support operational and financial objectives.
Provide support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and subsidiary financial reporting as needed.
Utilize ERP systems and financial data to identify trends and improve reporting efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience.
CPA or MBA preferred but not required.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
