About the Opportunity
Our client is a small but growing CPA firm based in Katy, TX, offering personalized service and long-term career growth. This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of public accounting experience who is looking for stability, work-life balance, and the potential to grow into leadership —including a partner track opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
Perform account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Support financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance needs
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely client service
Develop toward handling direct client interactions and providing financial insights as experience grows
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in public accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (tax coursework preferred)
Proficiency in account reconciliations and general ledger work
Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance
Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, CCH Tax, or similar)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
CPA eligibility is a plus, but not required
