Our client is a well-established Tier 1 automotive supplier serving some of the world's leading automotive manufacturers. With a reputation for quality, innovation, and long-standing customer partnerships, they are looking to add a highly organized Sales Support Specialist to their growing commercial team.
As part of a collaborative sales team, they are seeking a Sales Support Specialist who enjoys working behind the scenes to help drive sales performance, improve processes, and ensure customers receive exceptional service.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, analytical, and customer-focused professional who enjoys supporting a high-performing sales team. Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll coordinate sales operations, maintain accurate forecasting and reporting, support product launches, prepare presentations, manage CRM data, and collaborate with multiple internal departments to keep projects moving efficiently.
Success in this role comes from balancing strong administrative skills with business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales Department.
Prepare customer proposals, presentations, reports, and sales packages.
Maintain sales forecasts and analyze performance against budgets and objectives.
Coordinate communication between Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Accounting, Marketing, and other departments.
Support product launches, sales initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
Maintain CRM records, customer information, and sales documentation.
Qualify and route customer inquiries while providing excellent customer service.
Coordinate sales meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and customer events.
Prepare monthly sales reports, KPI tracking, and performance metrics.
Assist with travel coordination, expense reporting, scheduling, and general departmental administration.
Research market trends and competitive activity to support sales initiatives.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and uphold company quality and safety standards.
Regular interaction with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Accounting.

Qualifications
Required
College diploma or university degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
Approximately 35 years of experience in sales support, sales coordination, customer service, or sales operations within a fast-paced business environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Experience preparing professional presentations, reports, and customer-facing documentation.
Advanced organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working with CRM systems.
Preferred
Experience with SAP.
Experience supporting product launches or sales and marketing initiatives.
Background within manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or technical product environments.
