Job Title: SAP SD Solution Architect

Description:
Our client is building a new SAP team within its Information Technology
group to support our current SAP implementation project and provide ongoing support beyond go-
live. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, delivery and support of SAP Sales
& Distribution solutions. A financial and logistics background in business, combined with hands-on
SAP SD configuration experience is necessary. Understanding of integration points and
dependencies between SD and other modules is required.
Responsibilities:
Implement/support SD capabilities including standard order processing, ATP, scheduling
agreement, delivery, billing, pricing, intercompany party sales, customer returns, material
determination, account determination, credit/debit memo processing
Support integration with SAP IBP (along with IBP specialists)
Define technical and functional standards and ensure delivered work meets technical,
functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices.
Convert requirements into program specifications and necessary system documentation.
Configuration of SAP SD module based on business requirements.
Execute and lead testing process (unit and integration test).
Work with internal team and support partner to deliver application support, facilitate
changes, respond to tickets, and training of end users.
Aid in the management of third-party vendors.
Provide support to management regarding strategy and roadmap planning in the SD area.
This position requires 20% to 50% travel, based on projects and business needs.
The ideal candidate for this role will be open to becoming a direct employee of the company with a
start timeframe around late 2023/early 2024.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of experience or 2 full implementation cycles in SAP SD in S/4 HANA or
ECC environment.
Proven track record in configuring and customizing SAP SD.
Understand interaction of SD processes with other business processes and SAP modules
(mainly FICO, MM, WM and PP).
Familiarity of the technical underpinnings of SAP
Knowledge and understanding of related business processes: Sales & Customer Service,
Order to Cash, Logistics and Distribution.
Significant experience in leveraging full capabilities of SAP core functionality to keep
customizations to a minimum.
Experience in complex SAP environments, preferably supporting multiple SAP components.
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in SAP SD.
SAP S/4 HANA SD.
Basic ABAP skills.
Basic knowledge of SAP BI tools.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business.
Incisive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good team player with communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and experience in the consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
