This role is critical in managing key financial functions for an assigned portfolio of electric generating facilities, including internal and external reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for electric generating facilities.
Perform business analytics to evaluate operational issues impacting financial performance.
Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and reporting.
Work closely with senior management and external stakeholders to communicate financial insights.
Oversee aspects of the monthly close process and treasury functions.
Lead forecasting efforts for new projects, from construction to completion.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business;4+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred: Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CFA certification.
Experience: In the energy industry, construction accounting, forecasting, and renewables.
Software: SAP (version 4HANA) experience is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, motivation, and a commitment to process improvement. Ability to think outside the box and work collaboratively within a team.
