ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client provides a multitude of financial services to their national customer base. Headquartered in the Irving/Las Colinas area, they are seeking several Early Stage Collections Representatives to join their growing team. Training will begin on March 4.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities include collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced, goal-oriented collections department.
  • Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
  • Monitor and maintain assigned accounts- Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write-offs, customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos.
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Collections Department.
  • High volume phone calls to assigned delinquent customers
  • Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
  • Provide excellent & considerate customer service
  • Meet defined department goals and activity metrics

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years of high-volume customer service in a call center environment.
  • Collections experience preferred
  • Ability to learn Billing and Collections procedures, including FDCPA regulations
  • Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented
  • Experience with dialer system and manual calls
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Basic math and computer skills, including ten-key, typing, and navigating between multiple programs
  • Spanish bilingual is a plus
  • High School diploma or equivalent

OTHER DETAILS
  • $17 + monthly commissions after training
  • Eligible for Bonuses before conversion which increases after conversion plus added company benefits
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday 12 pm-9 pm ~and Friday10-7 pm
  • Training conducted ON-SITE for 4-6 weeks;9 am -6 PM
  • Temp to perm opportunity.
  • Regular work schedule includes some holidays as well
  • Training starts on Monday, March 4
