Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Land Surveyor for our client in Albuquerque, NM. The company has been recognized as one of the fastest growing firms in the architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting industry.
Must have knowledge of S6 and S7 total stations, R12 GPS receivers, TSC5 and TSC7 data collectors (survey controllers), and automatic levels.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of survey experience
- Current RLS license in New Mexico
- Experience with Trimble GPS receivers, Robotic total stations and Data Collectors preferred
- Strong knowledge of boundary, construction, and topographic surveying
- Have a good understanding of construction plans and subdivision plats
- Have good communication skills and be a team player
- Demonstrate willingness, enthusiasm, and positive attitude
- Personal appearance must be clean and professional
- AutoCAD/Civil3D, WORD and Excel skills also a plus but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly inspects and checks field deliverables for accuracy and correctness; Deliverables includes field note sheets, electronic data collection files, computation sheets
- Strong communication, organizational, and mathematical skills
- Ability and experience to independently manage projects
- Strong skills using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is preferred.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented individual willing to listen and work on challenging projects in a team environment
- Willing to assist with business development and marketing
- Experience working in a professional office environment
