Great Opportunity in Miami for an experienced Receptionist with Veterinarian (preferred) office experience. This front office position exceeds the position of a receptionist. One will be expected to use a wide range of clerical, scheduling, organizational, and reception skills to maintain optimum patient flow in the practice. The individual in this position will be the first point of contact with clients and referring professionals and work closely with the medical staff in coordinating and scheduling appointments and maintaining an overall level of client satisfaction.
Job Duties:
The Receptionist will receive and place calls to clients for the purpose of scheduling, confirming, and following up on appointments,
Greet and assist clients in a friendly manner to provide excellent customer service.
Maintain medical records ensuring that required medical and legal documentation are accounted for.
Process client payments within the protocol outlined by the practice.
Route client concerns and questions to the appropriate staff.
Maintain an accurate account of financial transactions.
Various other clerical duties may be assigned under the direction of the Front Desk Manager.
Requirements:
Experience working in a veterinarian office/clinic is preferred.
Excellent communication skills on the phone and in person.
Ability to build client relationships and interact with their pets to provide excellent customer service
Be multi-tasked, organized, efficient, and good computer skills
Must be able to handle various tasks in a busy office environment/
Able to read, write, and speak fluently English.
Bilingual in any language is a plus
Medical terminology is a big plus
Be a team player and support others in the office
Availability to work Monday through Friday 7am –5pm (work 30-40 hours a week)
Pass background and drug test
Benefits:
Salary $15.00 to $20.00 an hour depending on experience
