Join an automotive manufacturing team as a Customer Quality Specialist (CQS). In this role, you’ll be the key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring efficient resolution of complaints and maintaining quality standards. If you thrive in problem-solving, communication, and quality management, this opportunity is for you! What You'll Do:
Manage the complete customer claims process from root cause analysis to resolution.
Respond to customer complaints promptly, ensuring accurate documentation and timely corrective actions.
Communicate updates and resolutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate quality containment procedures, inspections, and cost management for non-conformance issues.
Lead corrective action meetings, ensuring follow-up and documentation of changes (e.G., FMEA, CP updates).
Maintain compliance and customer-specific requirements.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer claims and quality improvements.
Negotiate with customers and external suppliers on material returns, sorting, or replacements.
Support internal audits.
What You Bring:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or 5+ years in customer quality roles in the automotive sector.
2+ years of manufacturing experience, automotive preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
Proficiency in AIAG Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and internal auditing.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving tools (8D, 5Why, Fishbone, etc.).
Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with statistical software (e.G., Minitab, Power BI) and ERP systems like JDE is a plus
