We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team, specializing in the inspection of electro-mechanical components and assemblies. This night shift role is critical in ensuring products meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and assemblies for compliance with established quality plans and specifications.
Accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints, customer specifications, and tape measurements.
Document inspection results electronically, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality system procedures.
Identify and manage nonconforming products in accordance with established protocols.
Conduct dimensional and visual inspections, ensuring mechanical, electrical, and structural assemblies align with requirements.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Maintain calibration records for inspection and test equipment.
Participate in pneumatic pressure or leak testing, as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
2-3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or structural assembly inspections.
Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment (preferred).
Proficiency in calibration of inspection and test equipment.
Familiarity with NEC code and pneumatic testing (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
