We're seeking a dedicated Quality Control Engineer to lead our client's team in quality assurance efforts. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards across operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of activities related to the development, application, and upkeep of quality standards.
Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods, leveraging engineering expertise.
Establish programs to evaluate analytical testing equipment, facilities, precision measurements, and accuracy testing.
Compile training material and conduct sessions on quality control practices.
Implement a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with ISO 9001: 2015 standards, resulting in certification.
Conduct audits to ensure manufacturing adherence to the quality management system.
Manage root cause analysis programs, including methods such as 8D, 5-why, and fishbone diagrams.
Communicate findings and establish preventive action measures, engaging with customers as needed.
Develop Process Flow Maps and PFMEA to identify and evaluate potential process failures.
Utilize proactive tools like PFMEA to identify quality control issues and collaborate with the quality supervisor to implement preventive measures.
Establish and maintain a robust calibration system, collaborating with Quality personnel.
Support the Supplier Quality Engineer and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with ISO 9001 documentation preferred.
Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification preferred.
