POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title: Project Manager Reports to: VP of Operations
Principal Function:
Plans and manages projects
Assure projects are scheduled and delivered on time and budget
Continuous improvement activities to increase productivity and profitability of company
Quality Assurance of products produced
Must be able to multi-task
Must be fluent in reading of architectural drawings
Must comply with Employee Handbook and Safety Manual
Tracks contract documents such as RFI’s, change orders, specs, ASI’s, bulletins, etc.
Coordination & communication internally and with customers, general contractors, and architects
Must follow Production Policy & Procedures
Organization:
Works closely with the Staff
The relationship among the Staff is to be one of mutual respect and trust, working together as a team
Be a good steward with the Budget
Requirements:
10 Years + experience in woodworking
Must be familiar with LEED, FSC, AWI, AWI QCP, SEFA standards
Scope of work:
Full time, on-site;No remote work is available for this position
Compensation:
Salary is determined by President/CEO based on experience, education and/or licensing

All PTO must be coordinated with the President/CEO
Specific Responsibilities: Prior to production:
Conduct hand-off meetings to transfer the project from Estimating to PM Internal review of all submittals before submission to the customer
Verify the latest set of architectural drawings & all approved submittals are received, including shop drawings, product data and samples
Generate a Scope of Work Price any changes (if not already done so by the Estimating Department) and make sure they are approved in writing by the GC Field measure project & take project photos
Transfer field dims to as-built drawings & maintain as-built drawings throughout the project duration
Enter data for material take-off
Complete Production Checklist
Establish project phasing
Generate & study Job Summary
Oversee Material Requests & Purchase Orders for Projects
Coordinate any AWI Inspections
Production:
Conducts hand-off meeting from PM to Engineering and/or production
Distribute paperwork (Job Summary, as-builts, Project Details) to appropriate personnel for release for production
Ensure the accuracy of the releases to production and the utilization of various approved materials, such as hardware, edgebanding, and finishes, to meet customer needs.
Quality Control of produced material
Verify shipments
Installation:
Complete the Delivery Checklist form
Meet with Installers
Turnover paperwork for Installers
Verify any site requirements, such as badges and drug tests
Provide monthly billing information to the Contract Administration Generate sub-subcontracts as required Site visits and customer meeting attendance as required Generate and track RFI’s throughout the project as needed
