We are currently looking for a skilled Project Manager II to join our manufacturing client's team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing various projects within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute action plans for project completion.
Serve as the primary liaison for Operations activities.
Foster effective communication and coordination among Engineering, Sales, and Customer teams.
Maintain project schedules and provide regular status updates during Program Reviews.
Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure timely procurement of long lead items.
Document and communicate project status, obstacles, and resolutions to management.
Utilize traditional project management methodologies to organize, plan, assess risks, and resolve issues.
Develop and optimize business processes to achieve project goals.
A basic understanding of manufacturing supply chains is advantageous.
Travel may be required occasionally.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and serial production.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent.
Advanced Microsoft Excel
PMP certification and training are preferred.
