About Our Client
Our client, a top-ranked ENR Design-Build-Consulting firm with locations throughout the country, is currently seeking a Project Land Surveyor for their office in St Louis, Missouri. Responsibilities:
- Supervision and direction of survey technical staff in conducting land surveys and preparing survey deliverables and documents including quality, budget and schedule for each project
- Member of a survey team working within a group to meet schedules, client requests (internally and externally) and production expectations
- Experience in developing fees and writing and reviewing proposals
- Knowledgeable in the operation of survey instruments, VRS based GPS equipment, robotic total station, laser scanners and data collectors
- Capable of directing or completing research and interpreting record survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records
- Proficient with Microstation or AutoCAD software to be able to generate deliverables
- Safety compliance
- Mentor and train technical staff, including survey field crews and technicians
Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (Registered in Illinois or Missouri)
- 5-10 years of professional land surveying experience in charge of field crews for all aspects of surveying and types of surveys
- Desire and ability to obtain licensure in additional states
- Project management skills (contracts and subcontracts) and managing subcontractors
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Safety oriented
- Technical skills, including AutoCad and/or MicroSation, Trimble equipment and software, laser scanning and drones a plus
