We are seeking a dynamic Process Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing systems. Do you have exceptional skills as a key process facilitator and checkpoint for pre-production and production changes in a non-woven continuous process manufacturing line? You will serve as a protection against product failures and use influence to drive organizational and product maturity, by applying organizational management experience, team-building skills, and technical and quality systems expertise. As a Process Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

**Day Shift 8-5 pm with some on-call responsibility rotating call plan

Qualifications


Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited university is required.

Technical Expertise: Min. 2-3 years post-undergraduate experience in engineering strongly preferred, with experience working on
a continuous production line and/or with non-woven manufacturing desired.
Important responsibilities-
-Perform, review, and approve in–depth analyses of technical and business impacts of product changes.
- Approve subject matter expert teams for change projects, based on analysis of potential technical and enterprise
impacts of the change.
-Review and approve design transfer strategies and compliance with product change plans, including making
judgments on the completeness of design and specification documents, traceability, and business impacts.



As a Mechanical Process Engineer, you will work closely with Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Purchasing & suppliers to apply knowledge of engineering principles. This employee will perform engineering work to evaluate new and existing manufacturing products and processes while leading continuous improvement projects that are focused on process optimization in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for making engineering studies, particularly related to extrusion and modification of existing processes to improve quality and efficiency in manufacturing.

What you will be accomplishing in our team environment:
  • Implement manufacturing process improvements.
  • Oversee company Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Monitor and report on in-plant material processing including recommendations for improvements.
  • Maximize product quality and productivity.
  • Work with R&D on new product development and commercialization.
  • Review daily production data.
  • Use statistical methods to analyze quality and production data.
  • Support safety culture by working safely and executing all tasks such that safety is considered first.
  • Develop programs for meeting assigned objectives, including identifying and targeting completion dates. Prepare reports on a monthly basis of projects completed, projects underway, and completion target dates.
  • Process non-conforming materials reports for defective material to ensure problems are resolved and replacement material is obtained.
  • Investigate equipment breakdowns and/or production delays and make recommendations on implementing corrective action.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Communication Skills: Strong internal and external communication skills are essential, facilitating effective
collaboration with team members, other departments, and external partners.

Computer Proficiency: Proficient computer skills, demonstrating the ability to use various software platforms for documentation and reporting purposes. This proficiency is crucial for managing and analyzing data related to control engineering tasks.
