We are in search of a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and optimize processes for automotive accessory installations and vehicle and parts logistics, aiming to boost efficiency, quality, and safety. This role demands a thorough understanding of process engineering principles, exceptional attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Please note that this is a full-time, onsite position, which often requires overtime.
Essential Functions:

Design and develop efficient industrial processes and equipment.
Conduct modeling to evaluate and improve process designs.
Collaborate with OEM’s to translate new product developments into scalable manufacturing processes.
Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process flows, working collaboratively with the operations team and management.
Analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies.
Conduct root cause analysis for process failures and implement corrective actions.
Lead and manage process engineering projects from conception through implementation.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
Ensure processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
Develop and implement quality control procedures.
Monitor process performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Design processes with a focus on safety and environmental sustainability.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Implement a Corrective and Preventative Action Plan (CAPA) as well as other quality improvement methods (8D, 5 Why, etc.) are implemented and utilized.
Meet with teams from IT, Operations, Customer Service, Business Development, and any other relevant departments to ensure that they understand and comply with all customer requirements.
Develop and agree on Audit and Review processes and KPI’s.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preference for industrial or process engineering.
2-3 years of relevant work experience.
Strong MS Office Skills required.
Experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
Ability to work in a team environment within all levels of an organization.
Experience working with and implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) preferred.
Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Badge).
