Paralegal –Trusts & Estates
Naples, FL | Hybrid

A well‑established Private Client team in Naples is looking for an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support a busy practice focused on estate administration, trust management, and related tax matters. This role is ideal for someone who brings deep knowledge of Florida probate procedures, strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the gathering, valuation, and distribution of estate and trust assets;prepares detailed schedules, summaries, and supporting documentation for ongoing administrations
  • Assists attorneys with the preparation of fiduciary income tax returns and federal estate and gift tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Drafts and electronically files probate submissions, trust accountings, and related legal documents, maintaining a high standard of written communication and precision
  • Manages deadlines, tracks case progress, and keeps the team informed of upcoming requirements and key milestones
  • Serves as a point of contact for attorneys and internal team members, providing updates on assigned matters and ensuring smooth workflow
  • Reviews and edits legal documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to applicable laws and procedural rules
  • Acts as a liaison between attorneys and clients, offering proactive support throughout the administration process
  • Utilizes specialized software for estate and trust administration, tax preparation, and document management
  • Accurately enters and reviews billable time, making corrections as needed

Requirements:
  • Completion of a paralegal program from an accredited or ABA‑approved institution;a bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in Florida estate and trust administration
  • Strong understanding of Florida probate rules, trust administration procedures, and familiarity with e‑filing systems and probate‑specific software
  • Experience preparing or assisting with federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns is highly desirable
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to anticipate needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and attorneys
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
