Drafts basic drafts of motions and/or mediation briefs, including the creation of shells.
Propounds and responds to discovery.
Meet and confer letters.
Creation of PAGA Letters and Complaints and filing them online.
Works with Third Party Administrators for Class Notices, Declarations, and Distribution Timelines.
Organizes and maintains law libraries, documents, and case files.
Supervise questionnaire campaigns for class and PAGA cases.
Drafts first drafts of settlement agreements and MOUs.
Maintains attorneys’calendars with hearing dates, filing deadlines, depositions, and other dates of importance.
Submits state and US Federal Court Case Management/Electronic Case File (CM/ECF)/PACER system, including submission of electronic filings.
Drafts and reviews legal correspondence including thorough proofreading for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
Assists with the preparation/revision of correspondence, pleadings, discovery submissions, and arbitration/mediation documents in state and federal matters.
Handles a wide variety of complex and confidential, time-sensitive material.
