Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production performance.
Establish operating priorities, staffing plans, production schedules, labor coverage, resource needs, and daily management routines.
Monitor and improve key operational metrics including safety, OEE, downtime, scrap, rework, labor efficiency, productivity, quality performance, and on-time delivery.
Coordinate with production, tooling, maintenance, quality, engineering, supply chain, and facilities to resolve operational constraints and protect customer commitments.
Lead cross-functional problem solving for equipment issues, tooling concerns, material shortages, quality defects, schedule risks, and process instability.
Develop, implement, and sustain standard work, visual management, 5S, lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement practices.
Support production launches, engineering changes, equipment moves, layout improvements, validations, and operational readiness activities.
Coach and develop supervisors, team leads, operators, and support personnel through training, feedback, accountability, and clear communication of expectations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, quality requirements, special customer requirements, nonconforming material procedures, labeling requirements, and calibration expectations.
Support internal audits, layered process audits, customer visits, certification readiness, and action plans related to safety, quality, delivery, and operational performance.
Manage operating budgets, labor plans, overtime control, cost-reduction actions, purchasing recommendations, and resource planning aligned with business needs.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in operations management, engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, business, or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, labor planning, maintenance coordination, tooling readiness, material flow, and plant-level execution required.
Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 expectations, special customer requirements, corrective action, and process discipline preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, coaching, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, technical drawings, specifications, KPI reports, procedures, and customer requirements required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP, MRP, production reporting, maintenance, or related business systems preferred.
7+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience, including responsibility for production execution, staffing, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading production teams, supervisors, or cross-functional manufacturing support groups.
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, quality, maintenance, tooling, supply chain, HR, and leadership required.
Experience analyzing operational data, improving process performance, reducing downtime/scrap, and driving daily management discipline required.
Experience in stamping, tooling, assembly, plastic injection molding, industrial products, or related process-driven manufacturing environments.
Experience in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949-certified or certification-ready manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting facility expansion, business integration, production launch, equipment move, or plant start-up activities.
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred.
Able to work in a manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, machinery, tooling activity, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
Must use required PPE based on operational area, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and safety footwear.
Occasional extended hours, weekend coverage, or urgent response support may be required based on production, customer, safety, or business needs.
No regular travel expected;occasional travel for training, customer, supplier, or business integration support may be required.
