Competitive Base Salary: $110, 000+

Overview

We are a fast-growing, owner-operated restaurant group in North Georgia featuring three distinct, high-quality concepts with approximately $12 million in annual sales.

Our portfolio includes:

A rustic American bar and grill in downtown Blue Ridge offering regional, seasonal fare in a lively, modern-rustic setting.

A farm-to-table destination emphasizing fresh, local ingredients and Southern-inspired global cuisine in a warm, lodge-like atmosphere.

An award-winning Cajun-Creole restaurant in downtown Acworth delivering bold, scratch-made Louisiana flavors and fresh seafood.

With two locations in Blue Ridge and one in Acworth (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes apart), we are entering an exciting growth phase: one additional copycat concept and one entirely new concept are already in development. We are ops-centric, hands-on, and obsessed with top-line sales growth, operational excellence, and building a scalable, profitable business.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Director of Operations who lives and breathes an ownership mentality. This is not a “sit in the office and review reports”role. You are a high-energy, get-it-done leader who can independently drive results across multiple concepts and locations. You will own day-to-day and strategic operations, lead new restaurant openings (pre-open through grand opening), relentlessly push top-line sales, improve margins (especially food cost), and build systems that allow the business to scale without sacrificing quality or culture. If the restaurants are running well, you won’t need to babysit them —you’ll focus on growth, optimization, and the next big opportunity. This is a replacement role for someone ready to take our group to the next level.

Success in this role is measured through the performance of the teams you will coach. It is evaluated not only by financial results, but equally by how those teams represent the company’s values and by the sustained growth achieved through internal development and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Ownership Mentality

Provide strategic and tactical oversight of all three (soon to be five) restaurants, ensuring consistent execution of standards, guest experience, and financial performance.

Drive top-line sales growth through operational excellence, local marketing alignment, and revenue-generating initiatives.

Act as the “get it done”operator —you see problems, own them, and fix them quickly without constant direction.

New Restaurant Openings (NRO) & Growth

Lead pre-opening planning, construction coordination, team hiring/training, systems implementation, and successful grand openings for copycat and new-concept restaurants.

Partner with ownership and developers (including upcoming projects) to bring new locations online efficiently and profitably.

Financial & Margin Management

Aggressively manage and improve food, beverage, and labor costs (current food costs need attention —proven “margin edge”experience is a big plus).

Optimize P&L performance across all locations with a focus on profitability and scalability.

Experience with Toast POS is highly preferred;familiarity with MarginEdge inventory and margin-management systems is also preferred.

Team Development & Leadership

Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing General Managers and hourly teams through coaching and internal growth pathways.

Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement while ensuring teams embody the company’s core values at every level.

Collaborate closely with our in-house support team:

Marketing/Social Media Consultant (Angela) –ensure GMs leverage marketing effectively.

Bookkeeper/Office Manager (Monique) –transitioning into Controller role and handling payroll.

HR support (handled at Director level with store-level execution by GMs).

Multi-Site Execution

Implement best practices, training programs, and operational systems that can be replicated across concepts.

Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Profile

5+ years of multi-unit restaurant operations experience (full-service preferred) in a growing group environment.

Proven track record of opening new restaurants successfully and driving same-store sales growth.

Strong financial acumen —especially food cost and margin improvement.

Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with an ownership mentality (“I treat it like it’s mine”).

Excellent communicator and leader who can build high-performing teams through coaching and internal development.

Experience with Toast POS systems is a strong plus;familiarity with MarginEdge is also preferred.

Comfortable with a dynamic, fast-paced environment where things are not always perfect —you thrive on challenge and improvement.

Willingness to be based in or near Blue Ridge, GA. Ideal candidate locations include:

Canton (35–40 minutes)

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $120, 000+ (commensurate with experience)

Bonus Plan: Performance-based bonus tied to sales growth, profitability, and operational KPIs (new Manager bonus program rolling out company-wide).

Profit Sharing: Not currently in place;opportunity to develop a plan in concert with ownership after Year 1, with performance benchmarks to be established.

Company Car: Provided or generous car allowance (your choice).

Health Reimbursement: Up to $500 per month.

401(k): Company-sponsored plan.
