Lead day-to-day North America supply chain activities, including materials planning, purchasing coordination, logistics, warehouse controls, inventory management, and customer delivery support.
Establish, implement, and maintain supply chain procedures, planning standards, inventory controls, logistics practices, and reporting tools across multiple locations.
Coordinate with global supply chain, manufacturing, and operations teams, including Europe-based sites and stakeholders, to align demand, capacity, inventory, supplier priorities, and regional execution.
Monitor and improve key supply chain metrics including on-time delivery, supplier performance, inventory accuracy, shortages, backorders, freight cost, working capital, and excess or obsolete inventory.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective / preventive action efforts related to material shortages, supplier disruptions, inventory variances, logistics delays, and customer delivery risks.
Partner with production, quality, engineering, finance, sales, customer service, and leadership teams to resolve supply chain constraints and improve process performance.
Support S&OP, demand planning, production planning, and material availability processes to improve forecast alignment and operational readiness.
Manage supplier follow-up, purchase order escalation, freight coordination, and logistics priorities to reduce risk and support production continuity.
Drive regional standardization and continuous improvement across North America supply chain processes while aligning with global company practices.
Support international logistics, import/export coordination, supplier communication, and Europe-related supply flows as applicable.
Develop departmental goals, staffing priorities, budgets, cost-control actions, and resource plans aligned with business needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business, engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
Multi-location and multi-region supply chain knowledge required, including ability to support North America operations while coordinating with Europe and other global stakeholders.
Experience working with ERP/MRP, supply chain planning, reporting, inventory, purchasing, and logistics systems.
Ability to interpret forecasts, production plans, customer requirements, supplier data, inventory reports, and logistics documentation.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, carriers, freight forwarders, and cross-functional internal teams across different regions and time zones.
8+ years of progressive supply chain, materials, logistics, planning, procurement, or operations experience in manufacturing, industrial products, or related process-driven environments.
Experience managing or leading supply chain activities across multiple locations, regions, or business units.
Experience supporting North America operations with exposure to Europe, global supply chain networks, or international manufacturing environments.
Experience working in global companies or matrix organizations coordinating with suppliers, plants, warehouses, freight partners, and stakeholders across multiple time zones.
Experience improving supplier performance, inventory accuracy, material availability, freight cost, delivery performance, and working capital.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with production, engineering, quality, finance, sales, customer service, and executive leadership.
Experience in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949-certified manufacturing environments.
Experience with plastics, metal components, industrial products, electrical components, or related manufacturing environments.
Experience with S&OP, MRP/ERP optimization, supplier development, logistics cost reduction, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience coordinating international transportation, import/export activity, customs documentation, or Europe-related supply flows is preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred;experience working with Europe-based teams or multilingual stakeholders strongly preferred.
Able to work in office, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and manufacturing floor environments with exposure to noise, machinery, material handling activity, and varying temperatures.
Must use required PPE based on operational area, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and safety footwear.
Occasional extended hours may be required to support urgent supplier, logistics, production, inventory, or customer delivery issues across time zones.
Travel up to 25% may be required to support North America locations, suppliers, logistics partners, customer needs, and global coordination activities including Europe when needed.
