Municipal Project Manager - Civil Engineer

Job Description


Our client in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a team in as a Municipal Project Manager. A candidate with an established Wasatch Front/Back network is a plus.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Wyoming PE required or ability to obtain within 18 months
  • 6 years minimum experience in the civil engineering field
  • Extensive design and construction experience in municipal, transportation, and/or water resources
  • Strong computer skills a must including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Computer modeling experience is desired for pressurized and gravity flow networks
  • Familiarity with land use codes and plan review / submittal processes a plus
  • Ability to lead existing staff and develop new staff as needed to support growth of the municipal group
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment
  • Excellent Communication skills

  • The Municipal PM will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and develop skills in many areas
  • This position provides autonomy to complete tasks with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to navigate various locations and settings of the company
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle
