Our client, a mid-sized architecture and engineering firm in East Tennessee is is seeking a motivated and experienced Mid to Senior Level Electrical Engineer to join its dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of facility and infrastructure design projects, bringing innovative solutions to diverse clients. Key Responsibilities:
Lead electrical design efforts for small to moderate projects under general supervision. Provide design support for facility and infrastructure projects. Develop conceptual and detailed designs in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Assist with field data collection and review of construction for compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and entry-level engineers. Manage design deliverables, including specifications, calculations, and reports.
Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license required. BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university. Minimum 5 years of experience in power, lighting, fire alarm, and secondary electrical systems design. Experience with medium voltage design and power system analysis (SKM, Easypower) preferred. Familiarity with 3D BIM modeling, Autodesk Revit, and Bluebeam Revu a plus. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
