We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and 5+ years of experience to join our client's team. This role is critical in maintaining and managing our extensive drawing library for customer-designed data center cooling equipment, overseeing regular drawing changes through the ECO process, and collaborating with production teams to ensure that all physical copies are up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage an extensive drawing library.
Implement and manage drawing changes through the ECO process.
Collaborate with customer teams to evaluate new and revised specifications.
Perform the CDE (comply, deviate, except) process and communicate results to key stakeholders.
Manage the full submittal package for products and provide deliverables to site general contractors and customer groups for each deployment.
Work closely with production teams to ensure all physical copies reflect the latest revisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office;experience with design software (SolidWorks, Autodesk, etc.) preferred.
General knowledge of welded steel fabrication, mechanical piping, electrical wiring schematics, and controls is preferred.
Strong desire to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, particularly in data center-driven product lines.
