Job Opportunity: Project Manager
Seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our manufacturing/construction team in a remote capacity. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing project deliverables, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. If you are an experienced professional with a background in project engineering or management, particularly in electric power generation, refining sectors, or cooling tower industry installation, we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review contract technical specifications and ensure project deliverables align with contractual requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate thermal and structural design requirements with the Application and Structural Engineering departments.
- Prepare material and labor budgets based on estimates, submitting material requisitions to the Project Buyer.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion and compliance with contractual deliverables.
- Issue Authorizations to Invoice and manage project cash flow.
- Collaborate with Sales and Proposals groups on major projects.
- Continuously identify and implement improved work systems to enhance departmental operations.
- Provide mentoring and knowledge exchange with project managers and other staff.
- Participate in Bid/No Bid decisions and contribute to project feasibility and cost estimates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Chemical Engineering.
- Project Engineering or Management experience in electric power generation or refining sectors.
- Cooling tower industry installation/field construction experience.
- Structural design and construction experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.
- Experience with SAP.
