We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to oversee the technical aspects of developing, establishing, testing, and improving manufacturing systems and methods. The successful candidate will ensure standard operating procedures are in place to drive safety, quality, and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and purchase equipment, materials, or parts
Evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards
Collaborate with management, engineering, and other staff to facilitate production processes
Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential
Analyze labor cost and plan workflow, staffing, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency and identify bottlenecks
Ensure accurate metrics for efficiency and productivity
Assess capacity and required resources to meet customer demand
Identify and analyze process and design improvements to reduce cost and lead time
Ensure compliance with all government laws and regulations
Recommend new policies or procedures to improve products or services
Conduct training and assessments as directed
Document current and ideal practices and use post-completion audits to ensure compliance with improvements
Perform 3D CAD design through the commissioning of tooling & fixtures
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
Minimum of 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment
