Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician (available open headcount for 2nd shift, weekends included) to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, excellent attendance record, and a strong work ethic to our fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, routine maintenance and repairs, electrical repairs, and timely completion of work orders to ensure continuous production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment as per maintenance schedules and work orders. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, starters, and control circuits. Complete assigned work orders efficiently and accurately, documenting all maintenance activities. Work collaboratively with production teams to address maintenance issues promptly and minimize disruptions. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
Bilingual: English/Spanish strongly preferred Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the maintenance field, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment. Mechatronics background Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexible to work adjusted hours and overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb and work at heights as necessary. Must be able to work on feet for long periods of time.
